I asked my partner Peter Reed (C.F.I. of Skyflyte Flying School) to teach me a few of the basics of flying a plane about 3yrs ago - because we fly everywhere together and thought - just in case of an emergency, I might need to know some pointers!!
Well I quickly found out that there were no basics - you either knew how to fly or not.......challenge on!
So I decided to have a go and look where I am today....
This is my 1st Solo Flight (which was an absolutely amazing experience for me). It was at Devonport (YDPO) in Tasmania on a picture perfect day in our Foxbat A22LS. I intend to go on and get my RAAus Pilot Certificate.
No rush - just enjoying my flying and instruction with Pete, the man with eternal patience and unconditional support.

Thanks Reece, was an absolute blast achieving my 1st Solo Flight. Have flown 1 1/2hrs solo so far, and enjoying every minute of it.
I must admit flying in and out of the farm keeps me pretty sharp!!
Trying to tick off my exams so I can get my passenger carrying endorsement one day, my wee brother has consented to be my 1st victim, can’t wait!!
